Nadal drops out of ATP top 100 for first time in 20 years

Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal For the first time since April 2003, he broke out of the top 100 of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.

In the updated rankings, the 37-year-old Spaniard dropped from the 15th to the 136th row due to the fact that he “burned” 2,000 points for winning Roland Garros 2022.

The 22-time Grand Slam winner has already undergone iliopsoas surgery, which will see him miss the rest of this season.

Nadal hasn’t played since January 18, when he lost to American Mackenzie McDonald in the second round of the Australian Open.

In May, the Spaniard announced that he plans to retire next season.
