He noted that Kudermetova and Samsonova were unable to realize their full potential. However, according to Tarpishchev, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova outdid herself, especially considering the difficulties she faced after the operation and a serious knee injury. He expressed his appreciation and praise for Pavlyuchenkova’s performance at the tournament.
Assessing the results of Mirra Andreeva, Tarpishchev noted that sometimes it is difficult for young players to achieve stability, and sometimes they can already lose in the first round of the next tournament. He pointed out that this is a normal development process for young tennis players and that it is unfair to demand huge results from them at the same time.
