The tenth racket in the Russian world Karen Khachanov will not participate in the grass tournament in Halle (Germany), because he has not had time to recover from an injury received at Roland Garros.
The tournament will take place from June 17 to 25.
– Unfortunately, this year I cannot participate in the Halle tournament, one of my favorite tournaments of the year. I still feel the effects of a small injury I suffered at Roland Garros a few weeks ago and even though I worked hard, I won’t have time to recover. I will continue to do my best with my team to get back in shape and try to be at Wimbledon. I hope to see you next year, – Khachanov is quoted by the Halle tournament website.
In the French Open quarter-finals, Khachanov lost to eventual tournament winner Novak Djokovic. Following the tournament, the Russian returned to the top 10 of the ATP rankings.
