Athletistic/Tennis. Today, June 17, the semi-finals of the WTA-250 grass tournament, which takes place in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands), took place. Following today’s encounters, in the final of the tournament there will be a Russian confrontation: Ekaterina Alexandrova, who is defending the championship title, will play against the top seed Veronika Kudermetova.
Previously, the athletes met four times. Ekaterina Alexandrova could only win once, and that happened on grass in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 2022: then the tennis player easily beat Veronika Kudermetova in the semi-finals of the tournament. Alternately, Kudermetova picked up victories on clay in Nuremberg in 2019 and on hard courts in Wuhan (2019) and Adelaide (2023).
The final of the competition will take place tomorrow, June 18.
