Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya lost in WTA 250 qualifying final Birmingham.
The Ukrainian lost in two sets to Tereza Martintsova from the Czech Republic. The fight lasted over an hour and a half.
In the first set, Yastremska led with a break, but lost four games in a row. In the second installment, Dayana won back the lost serve twice and switched the game to a tie-break. Here, Martintsova turned out to be stronger, who entered the main draw of the competition.
Recall that in the first round of qualifying Dayana beat another Ukrainian Lesya Tsurenko. Thus, three Ukrainian tennis players will play in the main draw of the tournament in Birmingham – Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk and Elina Svitolina.
