russian woman Veronika Kudermetova moved from 11th to 9th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) championship race, a new version of which is posted on to place organizations.
Last week, Kudermetova reached the tournament final in Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, where she lost to compatriot Ekaterina Aleksandrova, who in turn moved up to 22nd place. Russia’s first racket Daria Kasatkina remains 18th.
Briton Cathy Boulter, who won the Nottingham tournament, climbed 77 positions to reach 76th place. The race is led by Arina Sobolenko from Belarus.
