Russian Aslan Karatsev will play in the main draw of the tennis tournament in Halle (Germany), reports the press service of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
Karatsev replaced the Australian Nika Kiriosa who withdrew from competition due to a knee injury.
In qualifying, the Russian, ranked 45th in the ATP rankings, lost to his compatriot Roman Safiullin.
Karatsev’s opponent in the first round will be Italian Lorenzo Sonego.
The Hull tournament prize pool is over 2.1 million euros.
