Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has successfully won the first round of the ATP-500 grass court tournament in Halle, Germany. In his opening match, first-seeded Medvedev defeated American tennis player Marcos Giron 6:4, 6:3. The meeting lasted 1h11.
It is Medvedev’s third victory over Giron in official matches, but the first time they have faced each other on grass.
In the next round, Medvedev will face Serbian tennis player Laszlo Djere, who in the first round beat German Oscar Otte, who received a wild card from the organizers, with the score 7:6 (7:3), 6: 3 .
