Something Adds Up: Nicholas Jarry’s Halle Consolation Prize

The tournament which takes place in Germany distributes 2.2 million dollars in incentives to its participants. The Chilean corresponds to part of this amount.

Nicolás Jarry said goodbye to the Halle Open in the quarterfinals. The Chilean leaves with mixed feelings. On the one hand, he regrets the loss to Alexander Zverev, with whom he maintains a close rivalry, and, on the other, he confirms that he can fight the best on the circuit. This week, in fact, he beat the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, fifth in the world ranking, another example of the stellar moment he is going through.

This Friday, the Chilean fought his way to the semi-finals of the tournament, but the loss in straight sets against the owner at home, a condition that the public regretted, prevented him from establishing himself among the four best. However, overall, Jarry still has several situations to celebrate.
