The tournament in German Bad Homburg will be the first for Barbara Gracheva where she will perform under the flag of France, according to Tennis Plus.
According to the source, this became possible by agreement with the WTA. In early June, the media reported that Gracheva had received a document confirming his French nationality.
The Russian has been training in Cannes since 2016 and has lived in France for seven years. Gracheva has won seven titles at International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournaments. Now the athlete occupies 43rd place in the WTA ranking.
