Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 500 tournament in Berlin without a fight.
Alexandrova was scheduled to meet compatriot Veronika Kudermetova, who withdrew from the match. Kudermetova was unable to participate in the match due to a left thigh injury.
