Argentine tennis player Mariano Navone won his first title as a professional after winning the Challenger in Poznan, in Poland. Navone, 22 years old and 240th in the ATP world ranking, gave a surprise after defeating Chilean Tomás Barrios (148) 7-5, 6-3 in the final and will obviously improve his position in the world ranking.

Born on July 9, Buenos Aires province, he retained his first professional title after falling in three Challenger finals (the tournaments that follow the ATP category). The Chilean Barrios became the champion of the Challengers of San Luis Potosí and Florianópolis this year.

The Argentine, who will enter the top 200 ranking for the first time in his career, will play in the Wimbledon qualy (the English Grand Slam on grass) next week.
