Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Alexei Selivanenko believes that Russia Andrei Rublev failed to return to action in the third set of the ATP-500 tournament final on grass in Hull.
Kazakhstan representative Alexander Bublik beat Rublev on Sunday with the score 6:3, 3:6, 6:3.
– The final turned out to be spectacular, with many sparkling draws. Andrei let Alexander go too far at the beginning of the third set – as a result, he was no longer able to regain balance in such a game, – Selivanenko told the Championship.
Next, Rublev will perform at Wimbledon, which will begin on July 3 in London (UK).
