Former world number three and Olympic bronze medalist Nadezhda Petrova believes defeat in the Hull tournament final will help Andrei Rublev tune in to a successful performance at Wimbledon.
The Russian tennis player lost in the last match of the tournament on grass to the representative of Kazakhstan Alexander Bublik in three games – 3:6, 6:3, 3:6.
– I think Rublev has now had excellent preparation. Plus, there’s a drive to prove to others that he’s even better. I think this will help him perform well at Wimbledon, – quotes Petrov “Gazeta.Ru”.
Rublev will perform at Wimbledon, which will begin on July 3 in London (UK).
