Dayana defeated Russian Erika Andreeva
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya made it to the finals Wimbledon 2023.
In the second round of selection, Yastremskaya defeated Russian Erica Andreeva. The match lasted almost an hour and a half.
For the entire match, Dayana converted 3 out of 8 breakpoints, giving her opponent one game on her serve. The Ukrainian also made three aces and made four double faults.
In the final of the qualification, Yastremskaya will play with the representative of Switzerland, Celine Naef. Dayana previously played twice in the Wimbledon main draw in 2019 and 2022.
At the start of the Wimbledon 2023 qualification, two Ukrainian tennis players dropped out – Daria Snigur and Katarina Zavatskaya. Angelina Kalinina, Lesya Tsurenko, Marta Kostyuk, Katerina Beindl and Elina Svitolina, who received a wild card from the organizers, will play in the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament.
