Athletistic/Tennis. Australian Open 2020 champion Sofia Kenin has reached the final of the Wimbledon 2023 qualifying tournament.
In the semi-final match of the competition, Kenin defeated 21-year-old Japanese representative Moyuka Uchijima (153rd racket in the world) with a score of 6:0, 6:3. The meeting of tennis players lasted 50 minutes.
Kenin had it twice, double faulted and converted four of eight break points.
To qualify for the main draw at Wimbledon, Kenin will face match winner Taylor Townsend (USA) – Noma Noa-Akugue (Germany).
