The organizers of the US Open have officially announced that the former world number one Caroline Wozniacki will perform in the tournament.
The Dane, who announced her career resumption on Thursday, received a wild card for the Grand Slam tournament. Earlier, the 32-year-old announced his intention to speak at the US Open, but first try his hand at the WTA tournament in Montreal.
Wozniacki is the winner of 30 WTA singles tournaments, the tennis player is the champion of the Australian Open-2018. During her career, the Dane has won over $35 million in prize money.
The US Open will be held in New York from August 28 to September 10, 2023.
