The former first racket of the world will be the first rival of the Ukrainian tennis player in the Grand Slam grass tournament.
The draw for the Wimbledon tennis tournament took place in London. All five representatives of Ukraine, who will play in this year’s competition, also recognized their rivals.
Recall that according to the rating, Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk, Lesya Tsurenko and Ekaterina Beindl went to the base. Elina Svitolina received a wild card from the organizers.
Angelina Kalinina (No. 26 WTA) will initially play against Jessica Buzas Maneiro from Spain (No. 167 WTA).
Marta Kostyuk (No. 35 WTA) got the toughest opponent of all the Ukrainians – eighth seed Maria Sakkari from Greece.

Elina Svitolina (No. 75 WTA) will start the match against the legendary American Venus Williams (No. 554 WTA), who also received a wild card.
