Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina, ranked 11th in the world, has shared her thoughts on the upcoming tournament final in Eastbourne.
“In the middle of the second set of the semi-finals, I slipped a bit and my hip started hurting. Hopefully tomorrow will be fine. This year can hardly be called the best year of my career, so I I’m glad I can reach the final and fight for my first trophy,” Kasatkina commented in an interview with The Independent.
Recall that today, June 30, Kasatkina defeated Italian Camila Giorgi and reached the final of the WTA-500 grass tournament in Eastbourne, UK. In the final match, the Russian tennis player will fight with American Madison Keys, who beat the seventh racket in the world, American Corey Gauff, in the semifinals.
