Daniil Medvedev: “I feel I can perform well at Wimbledon. I can play well on grass.”

The third racket in the Russian world Daniil Medvedev said he intended to improve on his result at Wimbledon, noting that he still felt much more confident on the hard courts.

Medvedev in the first round of Wimbledon, which takes place on grass courts, will play with Briton Arthur Fury.

“It’s always on the hard courts that I believe in myself the most, because that’s where I won major titles. But I know that I can play well on grass and even on clay. I feel just a lot more confident on hard. But I’m still trying to win.

At the moment, Wimbledon is a Grand Slam tournament, where I showed the worst result, only reaching the fourth round. That’s why I want to change it. I feel like I can play well at Wimbledon, but there will be a lot of tough opponents who won’t let you do that. I want to show you the best. Every time I come to the tournament, I feel incredible sensations, – the ATP website quotes Medvedev.

Wimbledon will be held from July 3 to 16.
