Medvedev in the first round of Wimbledon, which takes place on grass courts, will play with Briton Arthur Fury.
“It’s always on the hard courts that I believe in myself the most, because that’s where I won major titles. But I know that I can play well on grass and even on clay. I feel just a lot more confident on hard. But I’m still trying to win.
At the moment, Wimbledon is a Grand Slam tournament, where I showed the worst result, only reaching the fourth round. That’s why I want to change it. I feel like I can play well at Wimbledon, but there will be a lot of tough opponents who won’t let you do that. I want to show you the best. Every time I come to the tournament, I feel incredible sensations, – the ATP website quotes Medvedev.
Wimbledon will be held from July 3 to 16.
