Sinner and Ruud advanced to Wimbledon second round, Safiullin to finish match with Bautista-Agut on Tuesday

Italian Yannick Sinner and norwegian Casper Ruud qualified for the second round of the Wimbledon tournament.

Sinner (8th seed) at the start of the tournament beat Argentinian Juan Manuel Cherundolo with the score 6:2, 6:2, 6:2. The tennis players spent 1h30 on the court.

The world’s fourth racket Ruud beat Frenchman Laurent Lokoli in 2 hours and 48 minutes – 6:1, 5:7, 6:4, 6:3.

The Italian’s next opponent will be Argentinian Diego Schwartzman, Ruud will meet Briton Liam Brody.

Russian Roman Safiullin failed to complete the match against Spaniard Roberto Bautista-Aguta (20) due to onset of darkness. The match will resume on Tuesday with the score of 6:2, 6:7 (7:9), 7:6 (7:4) in favor of the representative of Spain.
