Athletistic/Tennis. 18-time USSR tennis champion Anna Dmitrieva enjoyed Andrei Rublev’s Wimbledon debut.
Rublev confidently beat Australian representative Max Purcell in the first round 6:3, 7:5, 6:4.
Dmitrieva noted that Rublev played very well, having had three great sets. Although there was a slight hiccup in the second game, he managed to overcome it, coming from 2:5 down to win the set. Dmitrieva pointed out that it is very difficult to be the first on the pitch on the day of departure from the Grand Slam, it puts pressure on every player. However, the main thing is that Rublev calmly dealt with these problems in the first round and continues to move forward with confidence.
