Former world number one Australian tennis player Ashleigh Barty has given birth to a child. The athlete announced it on a social network.
Barty, 27, married golfer Harry Kissik last year.

Barty announced his retirement in March 2022, citing his lack of personal motivation to continue playing.
The Australian has won 15 WTA titles in her professional career. At Grand Slam tournaments, she won the French Open (2019), Australian Open (2022) and Wimbledon (2021).
