During the match, Sobolenko made 8 aces, committed two double faults and managed to convert three out of six break points. Udvardi failed to make a single ace, erred on his serve three times and missed two chances to take the opponent’s serve.
In the second round, Sobolenko will play with Camila Giorgi or Varvara Gracheva.
