Serbian Novak Djokovic after beating Australian Jordan Thompson (6:3, 7:6, 7:5) in the second round of Wimbledon, he noted that he continued to develop.
The win was Djokovic’s 350th career Grand Slam win.
“I will never stop growing, learning, trying to improve, trying to understand the nuances and the details. Whether it’s with my game, with my body, with my nutrition, my recovery, whatever whatever, it can take me a little step forward.
You are as young or as old as you feel. I feel young in my body, in my head, in my heart. I’m lucky to have a healthy body. At this point, after 20 years of professional tennis, I can compete at the highest level,” Djokovic told the ATP press service.
Only Serena Williams (367) and Rogers Federer (369) have won more Grand Slams in the Open Era than Djokovic.
Wimbledon runs from July 3-16.
