Duo Kichenok and Ostapenko were defeated in the first round
Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk And Elena-Gabriela Ruse from Romania advanced to the second round of doubles Wimbledon 2023.
In the first round, Kostyuk and Ruse defeated Swede Rebecca Peterson and Anna Karolina Shmidlova from Slovakia. The fight went on for almost an hour and a half.
Note that this was Martha’s second match of the day. Today Kostyuk defeated Paula Badosa in the second round of Wimbledon singles. The Spaniard refused to continue the meeting with the score 2:6, 0:1.
