In the match of the third round, Safiullin defeated the representative of Argentina Guido Pella with the score 7:6 (7:1), 6:4, 6:0.
“In particular, the first set of this match, I would say, turned out not to be very equal: there were failures on my part, and on the part of the opponent. In the end, everything ended in a tie-break, in which I managed to add it and win it quite easily.
In the second set, we went pretty even. And in the third episode, I already felt confident and started to play really well,” Safiullin told Bolshe Telegram channel.
