Ukrainian and Salvaro beat a pair of Rautliff / Kubler
Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and Salvadoran Marcelo Arevalo made it to the 1/8 finals of the mixed doubles Wimbledon 2023.
In the first round match, Kostyuk and Arevalo defeated Australian Jason Kubler and Erin Rautliff from New Zealand. The fight lasted a little over an hour.
Initially, Marta and Marcelo were supposed to play with Michael Venus and Bianca Andreescu, but the New Zealander and Canadian withdrew from the doubles competition.
In the 1/8 finals, Kostyuk and Arevalo will play with the winners of the match Taylor Townsend / Jamie Murray – Nicole Melikar-Martinez / Jan Zieliński.
In singles, Martha lost to Madison Keys in the third round. In doubles, Kostyuk and Elena-Gabriela Ruse made it to the 1/16 finals.
