Athletistic/Tennis. Alexey Selivanenko, vice-president of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF), commented on the defeat of Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev against Serbian player Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon (6:4, 1:6, 4: 6, 3:6) in an interview with “SE” reporters.

“Novak played in his traditional style. He gave Rublev a chance at the start of the match and then, from the second set, took control of the game and gradually moved towards victory, step by step. Anyway, I believe that for Rublev it will be a memorable Wimbledon. Reaching the quarter-finals is always an important event,” Selivanenko said in an interview with SE.

In the semi-finals, Djokovic will face Italian tennis player Yannick Sinner, who previously eliminated Russian athlete Roman Safiullin.
