Pivovarova enjoyed the passage of three Russian tennis players in one go to the Wimbledon quarter-finals

Former World Junior No. 2 Anastasia Pivovarova in an interview with Gazeta.Ru she assessed the success of Russian tennis players at Wimbledon: three players reached the quarterfinals of this tournament at once – Daniel Medvedev , Andrei Rublev And Romain Safiullin .

In the quarter-finals of Wimbledon, Medvedev will face American Christopher Eubanks. The match will take place on July 12 with the second start on court number 1 – after the match between Arina Sobolenko and Madison Keys. Rublev lost his quarter-final to Novak Djokovic the day before (6:4, 1:6, 4:6, 3:6), and Safiullin lost to Yannick Sinner (4:6, 6:3, 2:6, 2:6).

– Of course I was happy to see all the guys in the Wimbledon quarter-finals. It’s always nice to see that we have so many talented guys who are attracted to each other, one bypasses the other, but they all move together. And it’s even nicer to see that they all communicate well with each other and are friends. I have a very warm attitude towards these players and I am grateful for the highest level of tennis they show, which makes us happy,” said Pivovarova.
