About the 15 years since the premiere of The Dark Knight (2008), we review the list of the best rated films about the hero of Gotham City. A list that considers versions of Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson.
11. Batman & Robin (1997) – 3.8
The most beaten of all films about the character. Following batman forever (1995), the film follows the superhero –played by George Clooney– and Robin in a fight against Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy and Bane.
10. Batman Forever (1995) – 5.4
Joel Schumacher takes the helm of the saga started by Tim Burton and places Two-Face and The Riddler as the villains of Batman (Val Kilmer). Not only that: it also features Robin, played by Chris O’Donnell.

9. Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) – 6.4
Ben Affleck makes his Batman debut in this Zack Snyder film, a story that depicts his confrontation with Superman, while Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) uses the time to plot against the Man of Steel.
8. Batman: The Movie (1966) – 6.5
Adam West’s Batman and Burt Ward’s Robin take on Gotham City’s most iconic villains: The Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman. The movie debuted in theaters two months after the airing of the last chapter of the first season of the well-known television series.
7. Batman Returns (1992) – 7.1
After his successful debut in 1989, Tim Burton returns to Gotham City to face the threats that Batman (Keaton) tries to prevent when the Penguin and Catwoman appear.

6. Lego Batman: The Movie (2017) – 7.3
Introduced in the lego great adventure (2014), this version of Batman stars in his own feature film. He must face the appearance of the Joker and, above all, try to better come to terms with the darkness that has surrounded him since his origins.
5. Batman (1989) – 7.5
Dark and lucid, Tim Burton and Michael Keaton’s first collaboration features the birth of the Joker, played by Jack Nicholson, and the appearance in the life of journalist Vicki Vale’s hero.
4. The Batman (2022) – 7.8
Director Matt Reeves hijacks interpretations of the character in the cinema and offers a story in which Batman (Robert Pattinson) must call on his detective facet, in an attempt to stop the Riddler’s plans.
3. Batman Begins (2005) – 8.2
The first installment of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy chronicles the character’s origins alongside Henri Ducard and Ra’s Al Ghul, and his fight to protect Gotham City from a sinister plan. Scarecrow and other criminals will stand in his way.

2. Batman: The Dark Knight Rises (2012) – 8.4
Nolan closes his trilogy by presenting Batman’s fierce fight against Bane, a burly and brutal villain. Although his reputation has been tarnished by the death of Harvey Dent, he makes one last attempt to protect Gotham.

Batman (Christian Bale) faces off against the Joker (Heath Ledger), a man of no origin looking to wreak havoc on Gotham City. The villain will take care of blowing up every desire he has for himself and his community.
