The first racket of the world Carlos Alcaraz and third seed of the tournament Daniil Medvedev advanced to the semi-finals of the men’s singles Wimbledon 2023.
The Spaniard beat the Norwegian in three sets Holger Rune. In the first set, Carlos won in a tie-break, in the next two he managed to take one opponent’s serve.
Medvedev snatched victory from Christopher Eubanks from USA. Daniil won the first set, and the American won the next two. Medvedev managed to win in the tie-break of the fourth game and put the squeeze on his opponent in the decisive set.
Serb Novak Djokovic and Italian Yannick Sinner made up the first semi-final pair. The matches of the 1/2 finals of Wimbledon-2023 will be held on July 14.
