Russian Korneeva failed to reach junior Wimbledon final

Russian tennis player Alina Korneeva failed to reach the final of the Wimbledon tournament as a junior.

In the semifinals, the 16-year-old Russian, who received the first seed, lost to Czech Nikola Bartunkova with a score of 4:6, 6:7 (2:7). The meeting lasted 1h33.

Korneeva became the winner of the junior Australian Open and Roland Garros this year. The tennis player occupies the 324th place in the world ranking.
