Russia’s first racket Daria Kasatkina earned a position in the new version of the WTA title race on June 20.
Last week, Kasatkina reached the quarter-finals of the Berlin tournament, where she lost to Maria Sakkari of Greece. Nevertheless, thanks to the earned rating points, the Russian woman overtook Paula Badosa in the list and came in 6th place.
Iga Šwiętek and Ons Jaber remain the race leaders, American Corey Gauff entered the top 3. Another Russian representative, Veronika Kudermetova, retained her 9th place in the race.
