Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic fined eight thousand dollars for broken racket in Wimbledon final against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz according to BBC Sport.
The game took place on Sunday and ended with the score 1:6, 7:6 (8:6), 6:1, 3:6, 6:4 in favor of Alcaraz. The incident happened in the fifth set, after losing the match, Djokovic hit the racket on the net.
Alcaraz, 20, has won his first Wimbledon title and the second time in his career that he has won a Grand Slam title. The Spaniard had already won the US Open 2022. Djokovic has 23 wins in BS tournaments, the 36-year-old tennis player has won Wimbledon seven times.
