Athletistic/Tennis. After a successful performance at Junior Wimbledon 2023, 17-year-old Russian tennis player Yaroslav Dyomin became the leader of the ITF World Youth Ranking.
At Wimbledon, Demin, who was ranked fifth, reached the final, where he lost 4:6, 4:6 to British representative Henry Searle.
The points earned allowed Yaroslav Demin to climb six positions in the ITF World Rankings and take first place. It should be noted that this rating value takes into account the results of tennis players in singles and doubles competitions.
The current ITF Junior World Ranking as of July 17 is as follows:
1 (7). Yaroslav Demin (Russia) – 2445.5 points.
2(3). Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez (Mexico) – 2255.5.
3. (1) Juan Carlos Prado Angelo (Bolivia) – 2252.75
Note that Yaroslav Demin is the only representative of Russia in the top 30 of this youth ranking.
