The Ukrainian defeated the representative of Switzerland Victoria Golubich
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk advanced to the second round of the tournament WTA 500which takes place in the British Eastbourne.
The athlete in her first match at the tournament defeated Victoria Golubich from Switzerland. The match lasted one hour and four minutes, and Kostyuk needed two sets to win.
During the match, the Ukrainian gave her opponent only one serve and confidently triumphed – 6:1, 6:2. In the next match, Marta will play with the 14th racket of the world – Czech Barbora Krejchikova.
In addition to Kostyuk, three more Ukrainians will play in the main draw of the tournament in Eastbourne – Lesya Tsurenko, who today became one of the winners of the qualification, Angelina Kalinina and Dayana Yastremska.
