The fight between the Ukrainian and the Austrian Neumeier lasted almost three hours.
Ukrainian tennis player Vitaly Sachko successfully started in the main draw of the ATP Challenger Tour 100 in the Italian Trieste. In a difficult three-set duel, he managed to get the better of the Austrian Lukas Neumeier.
The meeting lasted nearly three hours. All three sets ended with an identical score of 6:4. Sachko won the first and third of them. The Ukrainian managed to make 8 aces, and also implemented 6 break points out of 14. His next opponent is the representative of France, Kyrian Jacquet.
Vitaly Sachko completed his previous tournament, a challenger in the Romanian Iasi, at the 1/4 final stage. There, the Ukrainian lost to another Frenchman – Hugo Gaston.
On the eve of his start in Trieste, Sachko managed to get around Oleksiy Krutykh and became the first racket of Ukraine. His position in the ATP rankings is 187.
