The ex-second racket in the world advised the Russians not to go to the “Challenger” in Poland

Former junior world number two Anastasia Pivovarova said Russian tennis players should refuse to participate in the Challenger in the Polish town of Grodzisk-Mazowiecki, whose organizers have called on Russians and Belarusians not to apply to participate.

– As for the organizers of the tournament in Poland, in several countries Russian tennis players were not allowed. For me, this is not news. I think other tournaments should be chosen. And if some obstacles are created for us, then we just need to look for other ways. Why put yourself in a situation where, even if you somehow get into the rosters, there will always be pressure? It is absolutely not necessary for tennis players. You need to choose a different path, choose a schedule that will not limit you in any way,” Gazeta.Ru quoted Pivovarova as saying.

The Challenger Tournament in Grodzisk Mazowiecki will take place from August 14 to 19.
