Four Ukrainians will play in the main draw of the tournament
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko qualified for the main draw of the tournament in the British Eastbourne.
In the final of the qualification, Tsurenko defeated Heather Watson from Great Britain in straight sets. The first game ended with a score of 6:2 – the Ukrainian made three breaks, giving only one of her pitches.
The second set was more intense. During the game, Lesya played three set-balls. With the score 6:4 in favor of the British during the tie-break, Tsurenko managed to take four draws in a row and win the match.
In the main draw of the tournament in Eastbourne, in addition to Tsurenko, three representatives of Ukraine will play – Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska.
