Russian volleyball player Alexei Spiridonov told that the Polish border guard’s decision not to let Russian tennis player Vera Zvonareva into the country is Russophobic.
Earlier, on the official website of the Polish government, it was reported that the border guard service did not allow Zvonareva to enter the country to participate in the WTA tournament.
— It takes a long time to forget this nation and this country, for me the Poles have not existed for many years. They are pure Russophobes, scum of scum. It is impossible to find a more vile people than the Poles. We see that in the way they treat our athletes. And not just athletes,” Spiridonov told .
The WTA 250 category tournament will be held in Warsaw from July 24-30. Zvonareva is on the list of participants.
