Italian tennis player Giorgi will be tried for false vaccination certificate

Italian tennis player Camille Giorgi faces prosecution for falsifying the coronavirus vaccination certificate, reports La Repubblica.

The Vicenza public prosecutor’s office has completed an investigation into doctors who, according to investigators, issued false COVID-19 vaccination certificates for money. One of the medical workers said she had been approached by people who were afraid of the side effects of the vaccine, other clients could not go to work without the vaccine.

Suspects can be charged with forgery, embezzlement and corruption.

In January, Georgie, commenting on allegations of a fake certificate, said she had been vaccinated.

Georgia, ranked 50th in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, has won four WTA singles titles in her career.
