Athletistic/Tennis. 19-year-old Russian tennis player Maria Timofeeva has revealed how she celebrated winning the WTA-250 clay court tournament in Budapest, Hungary.
Lucky loser Timofeeva won the title by defeating Ukrainian Katerina Beindl in the final with a score of 6:3, 3:6, 6:0. Maria will receive around 30,000 euros in prize money.
“The celebration turned out to be chaotic, to be honest, because the game ended quite late – at the time of the awards ceremony, we arrived at the hotel and it was almost 10 p.m. As a result, we modestly sat down in the restaurant with the coach and my mother,” Timofeeva told Championship.
