Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko reached the third round of the WTA 500 tournament, which takes place in Eastbourne.
The sportswoman in three sets won the seed under the ninth number, the representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina. The first set was unsuccessful for Tsurenko – 1:6.
In the second game, the Ukrainian managed to win, taking two serves from Rybakina – 7:5. In the final set, the sixth game became decisive, where Tsurenko made a break and brought the match to victory.
In the next stage, the Ukrainian will fight with the Polish tennis player Magda Lynette. The meeting is scheduled for June 23rd.
