“It was difficult to keep the pace because of the wind. The feeling that a lot of points were scored by those who managed to get the ball back into the field. It was not easy, I’m happy with the victory. I like it here in Mallorca” said Daniil.
Medvedev beat Karatsev 4:6, 6:3, 6:2. In the quarter-finals of the Mallorca Open, he will face Spaniard Roberto Bautista-Agut. The meeting will take place on June 23, starting at 5:00 p.m. Moscow time.
