In the second round match, the Polish tennis player dominated Karolina Plishkova (23rd racket in the world) from the Czech Republic. The match lasted 1h48 and ended with the victory of Sviontek in two sets with the score 7:6 (8:6), 6:1.
Sviontek scored twice, double faulted twice and converted four break points from seven won.
In the next round, Sviontek will play with the winner of the match Sorana Kirstya (Romania) – Karolina Muchova (Czech Republic).
The Montreal tournament takes place from August 7 to 13.
