Kazakh tennis player Timur Khabibulin Uzbekistan’s Sanjar Fayziev and Israeli representative Igor Smilansky have been temporarily suspended on suspicion of participating in match-fixing, according to the official website of the Independent Tennis Anti-Tennis Authority (ITIA).
– Khabibulin committed 18 violations between 2014 and 2018, Fayziev and Smilansky – five and three violations, respectively.
Cumulatively, the players were convicted of fixing match episodes, facilitating bets, failing to report bribery, and offering money to players to influence play. the sanctions against these three players will be taken soon.
Khabibulin’s best position in the ATP ranking was 753rd place, Faiziev – 253rd, Smilansky – 451st.
