Ukrainian and Olena Ostapenko lost to the second seeded
Ukrainian tennis player Ludmila Kichenok and the representative of Latvia Elena Ostapenko lost in the 1/4 finals of the WTA 1000 doubles tournament in the Canadian Monreale.
Kichenok and Ostapenko lost in two sets Storm Hunter from Australia and Belgian Elise Mertens. The fight lasted an hour and 16 minutes.
For the entire match, Lyudmila and Elena converted 2 out of 3 break points, giving the opponents four games on their serve. They also made five double faults.
For Hunter and Mertens it was the second match of the day. Earlier in the second round match, Storm and Eliza defeated Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and Zhang Shuai from China.
