Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina moved from 17th to 14th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) championship race, a new version of which is posted on the organization’s website.
The 26-year-old athlete reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Montreal last week, where she lost to the representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina – 7:5, 5:7, 6:7 (8:10).
Another Russian Ludmila Samsonova , who qualified for the final in Montreal, moved up nine places to 18th. She is ahead of Veronika Kudermetova who is 17th.
The leadership in the race is retained by Arina Sobolenko of Belarus. The second is Polish Iga Shventek, the third is Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan.
