Kalinina lost to Ostapenko, Tsurenko withdrew from the quarterfinal match of the tournament in Eastbourne

Lesya did not come out for a duel with Haddad Maya

The first racket of Ukraine Angelina Kalinina lost to the representative of Latvia Elena Ostapenko in the 1/4 finals of the WTA 500 series tournament in Eastbourne, UK.

Kalinina converted one of five breakpoints, giving Ostapenko four games on her serve. Angelina also filed four aces and made six double faults.

Ukrainian Lesya Tsurenko withdrew from the quarter-final match against Beatrice Haddad Mayi from Brazil. The reason for this decision of the Ukrainian woman is not reported. Previously, Tsurenko experienced problems with her elbow.

Marta Kostyuk left the Eastbourne tournament yesterday. The Ukrainian lost to Briton Harriet Dart in the 1/8 finals.
